Indian Embassy Starts Free Hindi Classes for Americans and Foreign Nationals: Indian Embassy is starting free Hindi classes for Americans and foreign nationals wishing to learn Hindi language and understand the liberal culture of India. The Indian Embassy said in a statement on Monday that Moksharaj, a teacher of Indian culture in the embassy, will take these classes from 16 January. Moksharaj said that India's global reputation has increased considerably in the last few years. People want to learn Hindi to get the right information about India.
What will be taught in this course
In this course, people will be taught about India's art-culture, family system, marital life, architecture, Hindi movies, yoga-meditation, cook-art, politics and business. Today has increased interest in Hindi abroad. Therefore, the embassy will teach these things in Hindi. The popularity of Hindi in America is continuously increasing. Let us know that for the last two years, the Indian Embassy is organizing free classes to teach people Hindi in many countries. It has also participated with prestigious American higher education centers like George Washington University and Georgetown University.
Admission to Hindi increased among Americans
Indian -origin organizations in America are trying to increase the popularity of Hindi by organizing Kavi Sammelan and various types of Hindi competitions. Moksharaj told that Hindi and Sanskrit are taught in many places and verses of Gita are also taught. Moksharaj is the first cultural diplomat appointed at the Indian Embassy at Washington DC. He has been appointed as an Indian Culture Teacher by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations here.
Moksharaj Washington teaches about Hindi, Indian culture, yoga and culture in many places like DC, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginian and Kentki. He also led the International Yoga Day held at the Indian Embassy in 2018 and 2019. The Indian Embassy said in a statement on Monday that Moksharaj, a teacher of Indian culture in the embassy, will take these classes from 16 January.
