Patna. The government has tightened the screws on private schools in Patna for the increase in fees. In this episode, it has been decided that in the educational year 2020-21, all types of fees will not increase by more than 07 percent in the educational year 2020-21 as compared to the fees of academic year-2019-20 in private schools. Patna's Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Aggarwal has ordered this. On Wednesday, a meeting of the Private School Fees Regulation Act Committee was held in Patna under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal.
There will be no increase in these charges
In this meeting, the Commissioner ordered all private schools to ensure compliance with the Bihar Private School Fee Regulation Act, 2019. The commissioner said that any private school will not increase the total fees of the school in the total fees of the previous year, including any private school enrollment fee, reception fee, monthly tuition fee, annual fee (etc.) etc.

According to the Bihar Private School Fee Regulation Act, 2019, the school can increase all types of fees as compared to the pre -academic year as per the requirement of 07 percent. Also, it was made mandatory to give information on notice board and website. In this meeting, the Commissioner directed that under any circumstances will not increase the fees by more than 07 percent under any circumstances. If they increase the fees by more than 07 percent, then parents can inform the Deputy Director of Regional Education, Patna and Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna.
Every school will have to create a website
Under the Bihar Private School (Fees Regulation) Act, 2019, all the private schools except minority schools have been made mandatory to publish the details of all types of fees fixed last year and present year and the increase in it on its website and notice board. The Commissioner directed that in the light of Bihar Private School Fee Regulation Act, 2019, every private school will compulsorily create a website. Schools that do not have their website will ensure making their website soon.
These 6 schools gave proposals
Commissioner to Educational Year 2020-21 in 06 private schools, Baldveen Sophia Boring Road, Baldwin Academy Dhawalpura, Trinee Global School Transport Nagar, RPS Public School Patna-7, RPS Residential School Danapur and RPS Girls School Khagaul Road Was given but the proposal for fee increase was rejected.
Buy books and uniforms can buy from anywhere
In the meeting, the commissioner directed that all the schools and other ingredients will be issued on their respective websites and notice boards. Parents can buy it from anywhere according to their convenience. Along with Patna Division Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, many other members were also present in this meeting.
